Supporting Online Safety in Hull Schools
We’re pleased to announce our latest free CPD event for teachers and leaders in primary and secondary schools in Hull.

Helping you turn advice into a practical approach in light of recent advice from the DFE, we are delighted to be bringing a thought provoking day centred around strategies to safeguard young people online.

This conference will start with a keynote by Carmel Glassbrook, from SWGFL and working as a Helpline Practitioner on the Professionals Online Safety Helpline (POSH).

Following current trends from this session, teachers will then be able to access a range of practical workshops to support collaborative planning and self review as we interpret the information with networking opportunities throughout the day.

The programme includes:
• OFSTED – Making sense of the new Online Safety (formerly e-Safety) Standards
• Engaging Parents – how to encourage parents to work in partnership with your school to keep children safe
• The risks our children are facing – keeping up to date with current risks including sexting and radicalisation
• Practical workshops to share strategies, tools and resources

Suitable for senior leaders and members of staff responsible for online safety and safeguarding.

Time: 9:30 - 2.30
