Improvement Fellow Profile 2019-2020
The Oklahoma State Department of Education has cast an ambitious vision for serving the whole child through the Champions of Excellence initiative. To support Oklahoma schools in meeting the ambitious teaching and learning outcomes outlined in the Program of Excellence rubrics, the Office of Curriculum and Instruction has established Oklahoma Excel. Oklahoma Excel partners with interested schools to join in a year-long professional learning opportunity that take place within the structure of a Networked Improvement Community. The Improvement Fellows program builds yearly cohorts of leaders who guide this effort at the site level.
