Our abortion support services can include:*Emotional, physical, and practical support before, during, and after your abortion or miscarriage*Helping you find a clinic or provider near you*Meeting with you beforehand to help you prepare for your appointment*Being at the clinic with you during your appointment*Providing in-person or remote support for your abortion or miscarriage at home*Meeting with you after your appointment to debrief about your experience*Providing transportation assistance to and from the clinic or provider (within 45 minutes of the clinic)*Providing you with an after-care kit*Referring you to organizations and resources for financial assistance and more intensive support services
We are unable to perform medical exams, give medical advice, provide financial assistance, or perform tasks that involve blood or hazardous chemicals.
SPIRAL needs to be in contact with the person receiving support directly. Note that submitting a request does not necessarily guarantee support. We typically ask for 3 days notice for support requests & follow-up within 3 days of receiving the request. We will do our best to provide you with support when you need it, so don't hesitate to get in touch if you need support sooner.
