Art in Conversation: Contemporary Art in Society
Hawai‘i Contemporary invites you and a guest to join us at the 14th Annual Art at the Capitol in Honolulu on April 14, 2023, for our Art in Conversation on contemporary art in society

The panel will feature our HT25 curators Wassan Al-Khudhairi (independent curator), Binna Choi (director at Casco Art Institute in Utrecht), and Noelle M.K.Y. Kahanu (independent curator and faculty at University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa); along with Nina Tonga (HB19 curator and curator of contemporary art at Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa); Josh Tengan (HB19 assistant curator and associate director at Hawai‘i Contemporary); and Rep. Sonny Ganaden.
