Club Mentor & Coach Interest Form
Are you ready to take the next step in leadership by helping a new or existing club? Complete this form to let us know your interest and availability. Completing this form is not a guarantee a qualified club is available on the dates or at the times that interest you. However, the District will attempt to find a club that matches your availability.
Club Mentors guide and educate newly chartered clubs for a minimum of 6 months. They teach new officers and members how Toastmasters clubs operate, ensure officers and members understand and follow Governing Documents, encourage fun and valuable meetings, and provide, with the help of District Leadership, resources and answers to ensure long-term club success. You may join the club you are mentoring.
Club Coaches assist existing clubs with 12 or fewer members to once again become a valuable asset to their community or corporation. The goal of coaching is to assist the club in earning a Distinguished or higher status within two years. Coaches do this by building membership and helping club members earn education awards. District Leadership is always available to help with resources and advice. When a coached club becomes Distinguished the coach earns credit as a coach. If the coach achieves the goal prior to June 30, 2020, the coach also receives District Service credit (equivalent to serving as an Area Director - a requirement for the DTM award). You cannot be a member of the club you are coaching.
Either. I'm ready to serve my fellow members!
