People's Peace - a celebration of localized peace
“People’s Peace” kicks off with an interactive workshop from 2 - 4 PM on the prospects and challenges of building inclusive and localized peace with Iman Zueiter (Coordinator at Law for Palestine & Palestinian Human Rights Researcher) and Nargis Nehan (former Afghan Minister and Founder of EQUALITY for Peace and Democracy). The workshop requires active participation and will be facilitated by Rasmus Nørlem Sørensen - Chief Analyst in The Democracy in Europe Organisation (DEO) & RIKO Council Member.

The workshop will be followed by the segment "Eating for Peace" from 4.30 - 7 PM CET. Izzeldin Abdul Aziz Bukhari, founder of Sacred Cuisine, presents how food can facilitate peace based on the values of fair-trade, sustainability, independence, nourishment, and cooperation. The food is served by Send More Spices, who also provide the venue.
