Call for Abstracts: The Minority Health Conference at UCLA
The UCLA Center for the Study of Racism, Social Justice, and Health invites community members, advocates, activists, students, researchers, and other social justice stakeholders to submit poster abstracts. The conference will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Black Forum (Haines Hall 153) of the Ralph J. Bunche Center for African American Studies on UCLA’s campus. The theme of the conference is “Advocacy for Change: Celebrating Past Successes and Planning for the Future”, in alignment with our partner conference at UNC Chapel Hill. Topics of interest include: Advocacy Efforts, Community Engagement or Empowerment Processes, Community Organizing, and Arts or Performance-Based Practices or processes that connect Social Justice to Health. Please utilize the abstract submission guidelines:
