We have a variety of program and event opportunities you can choose from, including WildCare Center Tours (individual public and private group tours) or one of our Experiences & Interaction Events (e.g., birthday parties, tabling at community events, and private events).

ON-SITE WILDCARE CENTER TOURS

Please note: Due to the increase in Avian influenza in Southern Indiana, visitors will be instructed to take extra precautionary measures before and during tours. More details will follow after confirming tours.  

Want to see what goes on behind the scenes at WildCare? Come visit us! We offer individual and group tours throughout the year, subject to staffing/volunteer availability. Our high-intake season runs approximately March through September, so tour availability will be severely limited during that time period; we thank you in advance for understanding animal care must take priority when it comes to volunteer/staffing availability. Tours run approximately 45 minutes.

EXPERIENCES & INTERACTIONS EVENT

Experiences & Interactions (E & I) events can encompass birthday parties, tabling events at school open houses, and invitations to community events and educational programs.  Our outreach team will bring an one of our animal ambassadors, share the ambassador's story, and invite participants to interact with the ambassador to the extent that the ambassador is able to provide. There is a minimum booking time of 1 hour for all Experiences & Interaction Events. 

Option 1: a stationary set-up allowing visitors visit an area over several hours 

Option 2: a single program or series of recurring programs over a 1-2 hour period

Event and program requests must be submitted at least 30 days in advance. Tour requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but can likely not be accommodated with fewer than 14 days' notice. We do our best to respond to requests within 7 business days, but please know we are an all-volunteer team, so it may sometimes take a bit longer. Thank you in advance for your patience!

Please note: Events located outside of Monroe County will be subject to additional fees in order to cover travel costs, and may not be approved due to distance.
