The Glenda Allen Dance Academy, now in its 20+ years at HKIS, offers Middle School and High School students a large selection of Dance classes and Award winning Competition Teams in the following Dance genres, from Beginners to Intermediate level and up to Advanced Level!  We have a class to suit your Teen and level!

Hip Hop Dance
Jazz Dance
Lyrical Dance
Contemporary Dance
Performance + Competition Teams in Jazz + Hip Hop
Tap Dance
Musical Theatre
Ballet

All Dance students are invited and encouraged to take part in the end of year performances which will take place in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA) in May 2024.  The performances are a great experience for all!

** COMPETITION TEAMS **

Our Competition Teams take part in regular Dance Competitions throughout the year and most recently, our Dance Teams won the Asian regional championships in the Dance World Cup of Asia in many different Dance styles and qualified to dance at the World Finals in Spain!  Our Competition Teams are also the reigning Champions in the "Get the Beat" Dance competition and won the Asian championships.

** Or if your Teen just wants to dance with their friends as a fitness and recreational activity, we offer tailor made classes.

Our very experienced Dance Teachers and Choreographers, come from the leading Performing Arts Academies and Dance Companies in Australia and the Philippines.

Classes will be held at either our Stanley studio or at the Stanley Sports Centre and all students will be assessed prior to the term starting.

Participants:  Grades 6 to Grades 12.
