About this program:
Registration is open for a special edition of after-school digital mentorship. Girls and gender-expansive youth are invited to join us this spring to learn the essentials of creating electronic music using synthesizers, drum machines, recording technology, applications and more.
This program also includes a special focus on live performance using tech. Students will create a collaborative piece of music and have the opportunity to perform as a group in June in partnership with Lincoln Center Presents: The Dream Machine Experience by Nona Hendryx.
When: May 2 through June 18 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; final performance on June 23
Where: Willie Mae Rock Camp studio at 540 President Street #2H, Brooklyn, NY
Open to: Girls and gender-expansive youth ages 11-17
