Public Program Proposal Form

We’re excited about your interest in creating a program with Kennett Library!

Proposals are considered based on:

  • The needs of our community 
  • The library’s overall programming goals
  • The suitability of our available spaces
  • The expertise of the presenter
Please note: All library programs are offered free of charge to patrons.

What happens after you submit this form?

  • Acknowledgement: A staff member will email you within 2 weeks to confirm we’ve received your proposal.
  • Review: Our programming team or one of our Literacy Directors will carefully review your submission.
  • Evaluation: We’ll look at factors such as community interest, alignment with library goals, and scheduling availability.
  • Decision: You’ll receive a response within 2 months regarding whether your program will move forward.
Timing to keep in mind: Successful programs typically require at least 4 months for processing, planning, and marketing.

Please note: Kennett Library reserves the right to decline a program for any reason.
