We are excited offer our Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band students an unforgettable musical experience in San Diego during Spring Break (April 1–4, 2027). This trip would provide students with the opportunity to participate in music clinics, perform in a new setting, experience educational sightseeing, and build lasting memories with their fellow musicians. The tentative itinerary includes a university clinic, a performance opportunity, visits to the San Diego Zoo, La Jolla, Cabrillo National Monument, Old Town, a harbor cruise, and more.
Before moving forward, we need to better understand the level of interest from our families and determine whether this trip is financially feasible.
To help us with our planning, we kindly ask every Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band family to complete the attached Google Form, whether you are interested in your student attending or not. Your feedback is essential as we evaluate whether this opportunity is realistic for our program.
Dates: Thursday, April 1, 2027 through Sunday, April 4, 2027
Estimated Cost Per Student: Between $1,049 - $1,425 (depending on level of interest)
This trip includes the following for each paying individual:
- Transportation: Round-trip deluxe bus transportation (Music Celebrations International Tours)
- Accommodations: 3 night hotel accommodations. Hotel accommodations is based on quad occupancy. Rates increase for double or single occupancy.
- Meals: Two meals per day (see details on tour itinerary) including breakfast and dinner. Please note that breakfast is not included on the day of arrival and dinner is not included on the day of departure.
- Entrance Fees: Entrances are included to all sights listed on the Tour itinerary.
- Souvenir: One souvenir T-Shirt.
