Campers take a journey through the many aspects of marine science in this week-long camp. Through outdoor boat trips, collecting trips, and island fun as well as hands-on activities with animals, coastal habitats, and marine science equipment, campers experience a journey of ocean discovery. This camp is for rising 7th through 9th grade (current grades 6th-8th) students.

To ensure fairness, each camper submits only one form. In the event of duplicate submissions, we will prioritize the session specified in the first form received for registration.

You need not submit the registration fee at this time.  We will contact you if/when a space becomes available, at which point the registration fee as well as any payments due by that date will be required.  
Program Cost & Information
The cost of Gulf Island Journey is $650 and includes tuition, room, meals, and lab/field trip fees.  The $100 non-refundable registration fee due now will be applied toward the program cost.  The next payment of $100 should be returned with the camp release forms included in the camp handbook. Handbooks will be emailed to parents after May 1, 2026.  ALL forms located in the camper handbook (5 total) should be mailed in with your $100 tuition payment. A balance of $500 will be due one week prior to check-in for camp.  Tuition (but not registration) payments are refundable if notice of withdrawal is communicated to the DHP Registrar (in writing) AT LEAST two weeks prior to the first day of camp AND we are able to fill your camper's spot from our waiting list.
