When you join us as a volunteer, you are partnering with us in providing the best possible event experience for those who attend. Just as a reminder, Volunteers and Prayer Encouragers must already have purchased a ticket, and you will receive reserved seating.
Please read the following descriptions carefully:
VOLUNTEER:
• Includes Greeters, Will Call/Registration, Special Needs, Book Store, and T-shirt Table
• MUST HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED YOUR TICKET
• Will have a great reserved seat
• Early entry into event venue
• Will not miss any of the event
• Will receive detailed instructions via email two weeks prior to the event
• Volunteer Training will be at 4:30 PM the day of the event
PRAYER ENCOURAGER:
• MUST HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED YOUR TICKET
• Will not miss any of the event
• Will have a great reserved seat
• Early entry into event venue
• Will receive detailed instructions by e-mail two weeks prior to the event
• Need to arrive early for a brief orientation
• Volunteer Training will be at 4:30 PM the day of the event
As a Prayer Encourager, we ask that you be familiar and comfortable praying with women during a commitment time. They may be emotional or have trouble verbalizing their need. You will be there as an attentive listener, offering support through eye contact, a touch on the hand or shoulder, and by suggesting Scripture and truth to enhance the interaction. Prayer Encouragers will pray with their LifeWay Team Leader on Friday night during the orientation time and will be utilized during the invitation/commitment time on Saturday morning. LifeWay will furnish aprons for you to wear that will help women identify you as a Prayer Encourager.
Cancellations:
We understand that there are circumstances beyond your control that may arise after you have made this commitment. If you are unable to serve, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible so that adjustments can be made to ensure a positive experience for those who attend. Thank you!
