Sweeny ISD Education Foundation appreciates your interest in applying for the Sweeny ISD Education Foundation Bright Minds Grant. We want to support your efforts to secure external funding to support your innovation to enrich the educational experience for students of Sweeny ISD. Please complete the Intent to Apply form as early in your process as possible. Doing so will allow us to do the following:
1. Set up your proposal for success.
2. Assist with grant materials that will ensure the success of the grant.
3. Assist with budget development if required
4. Connect you with other faculty who may be working on related projects.
Remember, this is an INTENT to apply, not an application. The form is designed to help us help you – not to make an assessment or judgment about the grant itself. To be considered for the SISD Education Foundation Bright Minds grant, you must first have approval from your campus principal, director, or department director that may be affected by your grant. If your Intent to Apply is approved, approval to apply for the Bright Minds Grant will be sent from your campus principal, director, or any department director that may be involved in the project or program.
Intent to Apply forms can be filled out at any time. You can only apply for the grant if you receive approval before the grant cycle opens.
If your Intent for Approval is not approved, you will receive an email with reasons for the denial or if our campus administrator or director needs more information.
