Rethink Wellbeing: Apply as a Co-Director

We are looking for an EA-aligned generalist who wants to help with our mission. 


Wellbeing boosts welldoing. Our emerging organization aims to boost the mental resilience and productivity of people who do a lot of good. In the midterm, we plan to do so by developing an integrative stepped-care system that, among others, includes peers to training psychological skills together combined with accountability schemes and proven digital courses, apps, and workbooks. By the end of 2024, we will have supported ~200 members of the Effective Altruism Community, delivering our gold standard online group mental health program. After having shown its effectiveness, we now aim to keep offering this program in the community while also expanding to other target groups or contents. Ideally, the potential Co-Director has many years of experience in entrepreneurship, best in international sales or marketing, people and operations- or product management. Experience in the fields of mental health, and therapy, digital learning or digital health, technology, fundraising, and data management skills are a plus. We can offer a potentially high-impact opportunity, a great team, and plenty of scope for shaping the future of the organization.
The job opening is for someone with 50%-100% FTE, ideally starting as soon as possible. Our current runway lasts until the end of December 2024, but we are actively and intensely fundraising to extend this period.

We are looking for someone to support:

  • Strategy: Guide Rethink wellbeing to expand - their target group or their program portfolio

  • Management of partner organizations, the board, the team, sales, public relations and marketing

  • Fundraising: Grant-funding, donor-management, OR/AND B2C and B2C

Your background

  • >=5 years of experience in business and/or management, fundraising, sales, PR, marketing, etc.

  • Basic knowledge about and interest in mental health and psychological interventions

  • Optional: English at a native level, experience with technology development or data management / group facilitation or peer support / expertise in eLearning or eHealth / quantitative research
