Thank you for RSVPing for our second #GetOrganizedBK meeting this Thursday evening, December 1st at 7 p.m. at Congregation Beth Elohim (corner of 8th Avenue and Garfield Place).

We’re eager to build on the momentum from our November 15th meeting and start creating spaces to develop strategies, action plans and events focused on resisting policies of injustice , corruption, and hate.

After a short opening program in the sanctuary we will break into working groups. Based on some of the suggestions from the RSVP form (which we thank you for!), we have compiled a list of possible breakout groups and activities for Thursday’s program.

Art as activism: Working with the creative community to develop tools for resistance

Children’s activity: Sign making and organizing for the Children’s March for Kindness on December 11

Preparing for inauguration day activities/women’s march
