SLC track representative (~ 3 hour monthly commitment; Participating in SLC meetings, collecting peer feedback and providing monthly track updates to SLC members, attending OHSU-PSU SPH events as a representative, being available to students for questions)

SLC recruitment committee (~ 6 hour monthly commitment; Lead the recruitment of new SLC members through developing and distributing promotional materials, identifying and directly contacting students, monitoring the success of various methods etc)

SLC events committee (~ 8 hour monthly commitment; Lead the planning of SLC events including but not limited to the Annual Conference, Day of Service, End of the Year Shindig, skill-building, and networking events)

SLC steering committee (~ 8 hour monthly commitment; Work with SLC Co-Chairs to guide SLC activities and may facilitate meetings, recruitment activities, and other activities as needed. Acting together, the program governance committees make decisions relative to long and short-term planning of curricula, program activities and events, and serving the best interests of the students)

SLC co-chair (~ 8 hour monthly commitment; Participate in monthly meetings of the Academic Policy & Curriculum Committee, communicate student perspectives directly to program leadership by meetings with Dean of Students, coordinate SLC meetings and set the agenda)

SLC social media guru (e.g. facebook, twitter, SPH website)

SLC general member (Interested in helping in less official capacity with things like events, recruitment, etc)

Student representative on one of the SPH faculty committees (e.g. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, Community Engagement Committee, Evaluations and Assessment Committee )

Public health student representative of on the OHSU All-Hill Student Council (~ 3 hour monthly commitment; Participating in monthly all-hill meetings, being a line of communication between SPH student body and the OHSU all-hill council)
