Six Word Short Story!
November is NaNoWrMo, but with school, homework, jobs, and sports, who has time to write a 50,000 story?! That’s why we’re doing a 6-Word Short Story Contest at the McArthur Library! Tweens and Teens in grades 6-12 are challenged to write a story in just six words!
Prizes will be awarded the top two winners in grades 6-8 and 9-12. Teens and Tweens may submit one original 6-word story. The contest is open from November 6 to November 30. Winners will be announced the first week of December. Winning entries will be featured on the library’s facebook and website.
