The 2018-19 Naumann PTA Nominating Committee needs YOU!

The Naumann Elementary PTA Nominating Committee is campaigning for nominations for our PTA Board Members to serve the 2018 - 2019 school year.

The more people we have serving on Naumann PTA, the better Naumann can be. It really does take a village to make all of our school’s events and fundraisers a success. Are you good with organization and/or planning? Do you like spoiling teachers? Are you interested in improving your leadership skills? Have creative ideas for fundraisers? Are you strong in managing money and want to give back to the community with your time & while using your skill? There are a variety of positions available that can fit into your schedule based on your interest.

Do you know someone who would be a great asset to our school by serving as a PTA Board Member? Nominate them! You may nominate yourself too.

The Nomination Committee will be contacting everyone who has been nominated prior to making a decision on who will be on the official 2018-2019 Naumann Elementary PTA Officers-Elect ballot.

IMPORTANT DATES:
2018 - 2019 PTA Board Nominations Due: April 6, 2018 (to front office or online)
2018-2019 PTA Nomination Committee Review of Nominations: April 7 - April 16, 2018
2018-2019 PTA Board Officers-Elect Ballot Announced: April 17, 2018
2018-2019 Board Election & Voting: April 26, 2018 at 6pm


PTA MEMBER-ELECTED OFFICER POSITIONS:

President: Direct affairs of Naumann PTA in accordance with governing rules and guidelines; provide leadership to PTA volunteers, coordinate PTA activities on campus with principal; preside at meetings. Monthly Time Commitment: 15 - 25 hours


Vice Presidents: Support and backfill the President as needed, recruit committee chairs and volunteers, provide guidance and oversight for the committees assigned to each VP; manage activities in their area as needed. The areas of responsibility for each vice president are:


1st VP: Family, School & Community Event committees Monthly Time Commitment: 10 - 20 hours


2nd VP: Program committees (Fall Fest, Talent Show, etc.) Monthly Time Commitment: 10 - 20 hours


3rd VP: Fundraising committees Monthly Time Commitment: 10-20 hours


Secretary: Excellent first-year PTA Board Member position. Record minutes, keep records current, maintain correspondence. Monthly Time Commitment: 2-5 hours

Treasurer: Manage and maintain the budget, process revenues and expenses and ensure money management protocols are followed, file IRS forms as required, produce financial reports and maintain financial records. Monthly Time Commitment: 10-12 hours
