The South Carolina Freedom of Information Act grants citizens access to certain public records, subject to applicable exemptions under relevant state and federal laws. Lexington County School District One may deny requests to non-citizens of the State of South Carolina.
To minimize delays in processing, your request should be specific so that the District may respond appropriately.
Lexington One uses the following fee schedule:
- $20.00 per hour for the search, retrieval, or redaction of records.
- 16 cents per page for copying.
- Requests requiring a higher level of skill and training may incur a higher hourly rate.
