Due to the volume of requests from schools in Oregon and Washington, the Pacific Northwest Carpenters Institute and the Pacific NW Regional Council of Carpenters are teaming up to best serve our K-12 friends. Career Connections Partner Schools will get priority in scheduling for additional school-based career awareness events. Ask your teacher if they are using the Career Connections curriculum.

More than twenty Oregon districts are improving their construction programs with this affordable curriculum; many use their federal Perkins grant or Measure 98 funds. Students who complete the curriculum earn industry recognized credentials which can lead to advanced standing as applicants for apprenticeships.
