Runners for Public Lands is seeking examples of impacts race directors are experiencing, or expect to experience, due to a possible government shutdown beginning 1 October, 2025. We will use these personal experiences and testimonials to inform our strategy and strengthen our efforts as we advocate to key lawmakers for supporting the US Forest Service, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and other public land agencies on your behalf. We will abide by a strict confidentiality agreement and will not share your event names or race director names without prior permission, and we will allow anonymous submissions if desired.
