This form is due two (2) weeks prior to the event. In order to avoid conflicting events, events will be approved on a first come, first serve basis. Please review the IFC Community Calendar to ensure that your desired date is available.

Terms of Registration Form
The chapter does hereby accept full responsibility for the event stated below. In accepting this responsibility, the chapter will make certain that all applicable federal, state, province, county, city, and Florida State University laws and policies, as well as the IFC Policy on Philanthropy and Fundraising and their (Inter)National organization policies and procedures are enforced. The chapter understands that the chapter is required to regulate the behavior of all individuals in attendance during the event. The chapter understands that failure to abide by all terms of this agreement and all event policies and regulations may result in disciplinary action. The chapter understands that a chapter cannot host/participate in this event without full completion of this registration form and confirmation by the IFC Administrative Vice President.

A fundraising event is defined as any event hosted by a recognized chapter or pre-chartered fraternity organization at Florida State University in which funds are being raised to provide financial assistance to the hosting organization. An event that meets this definition must undergo the fundraising registration process and must be compliant with all relevant policies.

Signature Events: Large-scale philanthropy or fundraising events that encourage participant's attendance for two hours or more and often require participant registration and/or participant teams.
Drop-In Events: Small-scale events of a drop-in nature, meaning that participants can choose to attend the event for any length of time.
Drives/Collection Events: Events with a primary purpose of collecting goods or resources. Common examples include bone marrow registration events, blood drives, and book and clothing drives.
Percentage Nights: Events held in partnership with a local business, through which a certain percentage of sales generated will be donated.
Sale: Events through which the chapter is selling goods or services (food, t-shirts, bracelets etc.) with the intention of donating the proceeds.
RULES GOVERNING PHILANTHROPY & FUNDRAISING EVENTS:
Please note that all philanthropy and fundraising events must be substance free.To view all the rules governing philanthropy and fundraising events, please refer to the IFC Constitution linked at the top of the page.
