Be Exceptional. Be Blessed.
Thank you for your interest! We invite you to fill out our general application. Below is some more information about who we are and our requirements. Please carefully read and consider each response before answering. Upon review of your application, you may be contacted to come in for an interview to see which program best fits the needs of your loved one. Please make sure all contact information is accurate and up to date.

Our 3 programs The Foundation, Be Blessed and Be Exceptional all exist under the Exceptional Foundation of East Alabama. Each person who walks through our doors is seen and loved. We exist to help each participant reach their full potential as individuals. We do this through functional academics, art, music, social skills, and community engagement and field trips. For any additional questions, please contact drew.speakman@efofea.org or smanders@efofea.org

The Exceptional Foundation of East Alabama will only accept individuals who meet the following minimum criteria:

-The individual is age 18 or older.

-The individual is able to care for their own basic needs (eating, drinking, toilet routine, etc.)

-The Individual does not exhibit behaviors that pose as a threat to themselves or others.
