US Quidditch Cup 12 Family Face Off Volunteer Registration Form
Thanks for your interest in volunteering at US Quidditch Cup 12! The tournament will be held on April 13th and 14th, 2019 at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, Texas. We are thrilled that you are supporting both your player's team and the tournament by volunteering. Remember, the more hours you volunteer the more hours that go towards your team's total!

Are you available to volunteer with setup or teardown?
Pre-event setup on Friday April 12th will take place from roughly 10:00am to 4:00pm (exact times will be given closer to the event). Daily field setup for Saturday and Sunday will take place in the hours preceding gameplay (generally 6:00am to 8:00am). Daily teardown for Saturday and Sunday will take place in the hours succeeding gameplay, generally 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Post-event teardown on Monday April 15th will take place from rougly 10:00am to 4:00pm (exact times will be given closer to the event).
What size t-shirt are you? *
This would be a unisex t-shirt given to volunteers who volunteer at least three hours. Please note that USQ cannot guarantee the availability of all sizes on-site. If you are planning to volunteer less than three hours, please select that option.
Roughly how many hours over the course of the weekend are you interested in volunteering? We will only schedule you during the times you select in the next question, and never when your team is playing (unless you authorize us to). Remember, the more hours volunteered, the more that are credited to your team! *
Volunteers who work at least 3 hours per day will be given a free shirt and free admission to the event on days that they volunteer at least 3 hours. Volunteers who work at least 6 hours per day will be given a free meal and free admission. We are happy to try to accommodate any scheduling requests.

Which of the following logistics positions are you interested in filling?
The logistics team's primary responsibility is getting equipment where it needs to be when it needs to be there. Responsibilities for logistics volunteers can include things such as setup/teardown or security and may often include lifting or carrying heavy objects or gameplay equipment.
Which of the following general gameplay positions are you interested in filling?
The gameplay team's primary responsibility is ensuring safe and quality gameplay. Volunteers with the gameplay team (that are not referees or snitches) may be asked to do things such as gather game scorecards, scorekeep, or timekeep.
Which of the following hospitality positions are you interested in filling?
The hospitality team's primary responsibility is ensuring that players and spectators alike have an entertaining experience at USQC12. Most volunteers with the hospitality team will find themselves talking to and working with the public doing things such as answering questions and giving instructions. * Color and play-by-play announcer require an audition; a USQC12 event staffer will follow up upon submission of the form.
Which of the following marketing positions are you interested in filling?
The marketing team's primary responsibility is broadcasting USQC12 to the world via various social media platforms. Most volunteers with the marketing team will be asked to fill such roles as writing articles for the USQ website, tweeting scores, or photographing. *Individuals who sign up for Feature Writer, Feature Editor, or Photographer will be contacted by a USQC12 staffer and asked to provide a few samples of their work.
Which of the following general volunteers positions are you interested in filling?
The volunteers team's primary responsibility is to ensure that the volunteer positions needed for the event are staffed. Responsibilities of volunteers with the volunteers team include volunteer check-in, being a floater who can cover no-shows, and the position of field manager. Field Managers MUST commit to at least 6 hours, and cannot hold any certifications, be a player, or sign up to be a snitch, photographer, or announcer. First time field managers must also commit to an hour long virtual training, which will occur in the weeks leading up to the event.
