Film Screening & Panel Discussion
April 12, 2024 @ 6 - 9 PM
Tower Auditorium, MassArt

In the film Gaining Ground: Building Community on Dudley Street, we follow a new generation of grassroots leaders working to prevent foreclosures, as well as bring jobs and opportunities for young people to one of the city's most diverse neighborhoods. Gaining Ground is a follow-up to the award-winning documentary Holding Ground. Both films tell the inspiring story of how the innovative community organizing efforts of the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative (DSNI) helped DSNI become one of the preeminent models for community-based change.
