We’re looking for volunteers who are:

Volunteers will be able to watch the movie during their
shift—just with an eye out for phone use and respectful behavior in the
theater. It’s a great way to support the Bohm while still enjoying
the show!
Below are the volunteer roles we’re currently recruiting
for:
Concessions Support Volunteer
Responsibilities:
• Fill popcorn and prepare fountain drinks (no cash
handling)
• Keep the concessions area tidy, stocked, and
running smoothly
• Assist the staff team before showtime
• Help clean up after the show
• Enjoy the movie while keeping an eye on general
behavior in the auditorium
Perfect for: Those who like to stay active and enjoy a
behind-the-scenes role with a bit of fun and flavor!
Theater Greeter
Responsibilities:
• Warmly welcome guests and offer
assistance as needed
• Provide directions to restrooms, auditorium, and
concessions
• Offer programs or event flyers
• Help with accessibility needs or general questions
• Monitor the theater during the film for cell phone
use or disruptive behavior
Perfect for: Outgoing folks who enjoy connecting with
others and setting a positive tone.
Marketing & Promotion
Responsibilities:
• Distribute flyers and posters around town and
nearby communities
• Share and engage with Bohm Theater social media
posts
• Help spread the word about upcoming films,
concerts, and special events
• Assist with creative promotional ideas and
outreach efforts
Perfect for: Social butterflies, creatives, and community
connectors who enjoy being “in the know” and love helping good things grow!
Office Assistant
Responsibilities:
• Help with preparing large mailings and assembling
promotional packets
• Support outreach to patrons, schools, and
organizations
• Assist in spreading awareness of our theater
rental and membership programs
• Organize materials and maintain accurate contact
lists
Perfect for: Detail-oriented helpers who enjoy a quieter
environment and want to support behind the scenes.
Volunteer Coordinators
Responsibilities:
- Welcome
and onboard new volunteers with orientation and basic training
- Create
and manage volunteer schedules
- Serve
as the point of contact between volunteers and theater staff
- Communicate
needs, updates, and feedback clearly and professionally
- Help
foster a positive and inclusive volunteer culture
- Assist
in developing new roles and improving the volunteer experience
