Add your name to tell the Alberta government to include volunteer centres, nonprofits and charities in Alberta's economic recovery plan
Volunteer Alberta connects, promotes and strengthens volunteerism and the nonprofit sector in Alberta. Part of our work includes facilitating the Alberta Volunteer Centre Network (AVCN).
AVCN is a network that comprises of 26 volunteer centres across Alberta that provide essential programs and services that:
- Support volunteer recruitment and engagement for local nonprofits.
- Connect volunteers with nonprofits in their community.
- Provide educational resources to help local nonprofits strengthen their own capacity to achieve their missions.

As a result of COVID-19, volunteer centres across Canada need more support than ever. Join us in a national effort to elevate volunteer centres by signing your name below! All signatures will then be shared with the Alberta government and potentially the Government of Canada.
PLEASE NOTE: We are only collecting your contact information for the purposes of:
- Tracking responses and providing response receipts.
- Identity confirmation and to reduce the likelihood of duplicate or false signatures.
We will not be contacting you via email or by phone for any reason. We will also not redistribute your personal information to any third-parties whatsoever.
However, we've added an option below for you to release your contact info to appropriate government officials (i.e., MLAs) should they be interested in connecting with you about the open letter.
