Headwater Habitat Evaluation Index (HHEI) is a type of stream assessment used to evaluate small streams (Primary Headwater Streams) for physical and biological characteristics.
The Watershed Volunteer Program plans to offer a HHEI training led by EnviroScience. This training will consist of two, virtual Web-Ex training sessions during the first week of May and one day-long field session at the end of May. To participate in the full training course, attendance of at least one live virtual session (both should be recorded, both will be recorded) and the field session is required.
This training will be offered at a special rate of $50. This fee is due upon notification that you are accepted in the full course. The remainder of the costs of attendance will be covered by WVP with funding from the Cleveland Water Alliance. Please fill out this form with your interests.
