We invite you to take a time-out from daily worries, regular mood variations and invading thoughts. Meditation, Zen in Mouvement and Gurdjieff Dances will help us to free out of our ordinary functioning state, so that we can
– revive,
– replenish us with new energy and force,
– discover our uprightness and axis, which nothing can shaken,
– relax and regain confidence in ourselves and in life,
– let go of negative emotions and open up to tenderness, love and joy,
– experience practically body-mind-spirit connection, and
– for those who are interested, strengthen our essential part, our conscious I.
G. I. Gurdjieff’s sacred dances, movements, and exercises originated from the schools of wisdom and the teaching of the mystical centers of Asia and the Middle East. These dances were collected, adapted and taught in Europe by G. I. Gurdjieff, a philosopher, spiritual teacher and influential artist and composer in the beginning of the 20th century.
“There are no Russians, no English, no Jews, no Christians here, only those who pursue one goal – to be able to be.” – Gurdjieff’s aphorism
Idris Lahore has developed Samara yoga and Zen in movement, that consists of slow and dynamic movements, dancing, relaxation, meditation and attention exercises. It is the art of movement, inspired by the science of movement, passed down for centuries in certain fraternities in the Samara Valley, and adapted by Idris Lahore to the men and women of today.
Both G. I. Gurdjieff and I. Lahore are the Masters of Dance, the Alchemists, that have left us the teaching and practical tools to undertake a real transformative journey though Art and Science of Movement, through Sacred Dancing.
