Please fill out the following form if you are interested in working our BACK TO SCHOOL sale. All team members must work 12 total hours throughout the week to receive the perk of team member shopping and a team member t-shirt. You are welcome to work less than 12 hours but will not be able to shop at the team shopping time. This is a seasonal position with no future employment guarantees.
We invite anyone 18 and older to apply through this form. Kids of working team members aged 14-17 that want to work the sale must be approved before applying. No children under the age of 14 will be allowed to work the sale, per Texas law. You may contact Jessica at 936-286-3044 for more information.
Payment
Team Members 18+ years old will make $10/hr. Team checks are sent by eCheck to your email and you will print and deposit it like a normal check. Team checks will be sent separately from consignor checks and will be sent no later than August 31st.
Homebase App
Once you fill out this form, we will add you to our scheduling system - Homebase. You will receive an email from Homebase (it may reference "Thrifty Mamas, LLC" - that's us!) to create an account and fill out a W-9, which we are legally required to collect from you. Once you create your account, I highly suggest downloading the purple Homebase app and adding shifts from there.
For all shifts, you will be working alongside a team lead that has been given direction - please do not be nervous! 😊

Team Member Perks
-Early Shopping Presale: You + 2 Guests shop at 2:30pm on Wednesday, July 29th
OR if you pick up at 2:30pm shift on Wednesday, your shopping time will be earlier, at 1pm
(Your spouse is not considered a guest and can attend with you and kids under 18 don’t need a ticket)
-Early Shopping Half-Price Sale: You + 2 Guests shop at 4:30pm on Saturday, August 1st
-Team JBF T-Shirt: Grab at your first shift!
-Use your worked hours to shop with! All hours worked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday through 12pm will be totaled for all team members and will be available to be redeemed for “team pay” to use at the register when you shop. You may redeem these hours at the register anytime throughout the sale - just let your cashier know that you would like to apply your team pay to your purchase. You don’t need to let Jessica know if you are wanting to do this - everyone’s hours will be totaled and ready for you in case you want to use them.
Sale Week Specifics
1-2 weeks prior to the sale, you will receive a detailed TEAM email with more information on what to wear, what to bring, what shifts are like, etc. In that email, you will receive a link to receive your TEAM TICKET QR code to shop during TEAM shopping times. This is the QR code that you will share with your guests for them to enter during or after team member shopping as well. They do not need to enter with you.
We will be at BOTH venues this sale, both with A/C. Most everyone will be working at the

JBF Team Waiver: The Woodlands &
Conroe
Thank you for being part of the JBF Team! Please read the
following statements carefully and acknowledge this agreement to indicate your
understanding of and agreement with the JBF Team Member commitment.
I, the undersigned Team Member, agree that I am not an
employee of Just Between Friends, Inc. or Thrifty Mamas LLC, and that JBF will
not provide me with insurance, worker’s compensation, sick leave, vacation pay,
retirement, social security, disability, health, or unemployment benefits or
any other benefits of an employee. Instead, I am offering my services as an
independent contractor and this waiver shall not constitute the formation of a
partnership, joint venture, employment, principal/agent, or master/servant
relationship between the parties.
I agree to completely fulfill my self-elected time
commitments. If I am unable to do so, I will make arrangements with the Event Organizer, Sarah Schmittgens, as soon as possible so that they can make other
arrangements. I understand that I will clock in and out to track my pay out. I
have selected the shift(s) that work best with my schedule and skills.
I am participating as a Team Member of JBF in an ethical
manner and agree that I am not attempting to learn JBF business practices,
operations techniques, or any other business matters that may or may not be
trademarked, registered, or proprietary in any way.
I acknowledge that I am performing services as a Team Member
on a temporary basis, and that no continuing contractual arrangement will exist
between myself and JBF Woodlands & Conroe. I am not required to devote full
time services to JBF Woodlands & Conroe and am free to continue or pursue
all other forms of gainful work available to me.
As a Team member I will receive $10/hr for the time I have
elected to spend helping at the sale. I am not
entitled to any further compensation.
I grant and convey to
JBF The Woodlands & Conroe all right, title, and interest in any and all
photographic images and video or audio recordings made by the organizer during
my participation in any activities under this agreement, including, but not
limited to, any royalties, proceeds, or other benefits derived from such
photographs or recordings.
