Volunteering at Pacific Crest
Volunteering is vital to the success of Pacific Crest School. Each family is required to contribute 30 hours of volunteer work per school year. There are many opportunities to fill these hours; from parent education meetings and garden work parties to chaperoning outings and mending aprons. We will post volunteer opportunities school wide when needs arise, but it’s great to get a base crew for each committee well ahead of time. Please indicate your interest below, let us know which parent is volunteering by placing initials on the lines provided. A committee chairperson will reach out to everyone who has volunteered for a committee to give specifics and make sure you are still available. You can learn more about all of these events and meet face-to-face with committee chairs at our Volunteer Fair on September 25th!

Auction
Our biennial auction is happening this year, on March 23rd at the Fremont Foundry. We are lucky to have auctioneer David Silverman back again. This event requires a huge community volunteer effort. We will be looking for some of you to take on leading roles and many of you to take on supporting ones. It takes all levels of participation to make our auction the stellar community event and fundraiser that it is. Please indicate your interest level in the following auction categories. An auction volunteer coordinator will reach out to you with details as we get closer to the event.

Your Profession, hobbies, special skills & resources
We often have needs for volunteers with specific skills, expertise or access to resources in various academic subjects to create special learning opportunities for small groups or individual children, or to contribute to volunteer efforts. Do you have hobbies, special skills, expertise, or community connections that you can offer? Examples: a passion for bird watching, expertise in physics or astronomy, include knowing someone who works at city hall and could offer a tour, skills in graphic design that could benefit our annual giving campaign or connections to businesses who could donate to our auction.
