Iboga Agreement and FYI: Some things to know about taking Iboga

I understand that Iboga in a shamanic setting for psycho-spiritual and physical healing is very safe when I am willing to trust, listen, and follow the instructions of my experienced shamanic guide.
I understand that this journey can be challenging at times both physically and mentally. I have been completely transparent about my health history in my Health History Questionnaire with Iboga Love which has screened for thousands of successful treatments and therefore, I am safe.
I am making the commitment to this journey. I am not doing this for anyone but myself.
I understand that other plant medicines may interfere with the Iboga treatment and it is advisable to be clear of Marijuana, Ayahuasca, Peyote, San Pedro, Mushrooms etc. for a minimum of 4 weeks prior to ceremony.
I certify that I have not taken any opiates or opioid derivative in the last 2 months. That includes Heroin, Morphine, Oxycodone (trade names include: OxyContin and Percocet), Hydrocodone (trade names include: Vicodin and Lortab), Codeine, Fentanyl, Methadone or Suboxone.
I certify that I have not taken any drugs in the benzodiazepine drug family for any period longer than 2 weeks in the last 3 months. These are the class of drugs prescribed for anxiety and panic, seizures (convulsions), and insomnia or trouble sleeping. Some common names are Klonopin, Xanax, Valium, Ativan.
I certify that I have disclosed all of my drug, plant and health history with Iboga Love in the Health Questionnaire and failure to do so could result in jeopardizing my health and removal from the program with no refund.
I certify that I have not used any drugs or pharmaceuticals for at least one month leading up to the retreat. If I have consumed any drugs or pharmaceuticals in the past month that I will openly disclose it to an Iboga Love Team Member.
I will not consume any alcohol for at least one week prior to taking Iboga.
I am currently not taking any drug, pharmaceutical or medication whether prescribed or not.
I understand that I can not take any drugs or medicines in the opiate family for one month after taking Iboga. Serious health risk could result.
I understand that in order to receive the FULL benefits of Iboga it is advised not to take any drugs or alcohol for as long as possible even up to a year after taking Iboga. If it is absolutely necessary for me to do so I will wait at least 1 month.
I will not eat any bananas or plantanes. I will not take any stimulants, including coffee or chocolate, 24 hour prior to my journey.
I understand that I am required to stay in the ceremony space during the first 9-12 hours of the ceremony. During this time I will have someone from the Iboga Love team watching me closely. Then for the next 12 hours I am able to be in my room but the door must be unlocked and in some cases left open.
I understand that once I take Iboga I will not be able to leave the premises of the facility for 48 hours.
I will not exercise the day after my Iboga Journey. I will not sunbathe the day after my Iboga Journey. I will lay down as much as possible the day after my Journey.
I will refrain from taking any supplements for 3-5 days before the ceremony. If I have any questions about my supplements I will ask someone from the team.
I will not watch TV, use the computer, my cell phone, or any electronic equipment. I will not read any books.
I will not read any books. I will not engage in lengthy conversations with other guests for 24 hours after taking Iboga.
I understand that I can talk to my provider and assistants at any time during the treatment about anything that is coming up for me.
I understand that an Iboga journey is different for every single person. I will not come to this journey with any preconceived ideas. I am a unique individual and Iboga is a highly intelligent medicine that will give me exactly what I need at this time in my life.
I understand that for some people the benefits are instantly noticeable and for others the results unfold over time; sometimes weeks, months, or even years later.
I understand that it is possible to have visions, and that it is very common for people to NOT have visions. I understand that I may receive a very profound physically healing on a cellular level and/or telepathically with a deep sense of knowing.
I understand that it is normal for some people experience depression for some days after an Iboga ceremony.
I understand that I will need to eat and drink water the day after ceremony even if I may not feel like it. I understand that this will be beneficial to fully receiving the benefits of Iboga.
I understand that Iboga is very powerful. I understand that a lot of planning, time, energy, resources, meditations, intentions go into the preparation of my ceremony by the Iboga Love team. I understand that my facilitator will begin holding space for me from the moment I commit to this journey and for these reasons, deposits are non-refundable.
I understand that my remaining balance must be paid in full in cash upon arrival at the retreat.
I understand that my shadowy side and everything that I am looking to face and release may start coming up for me in the weeks/months leading up to my ceremony. I understand these feelings are normal. I understand that this may make me feel like I want to cancel my retreat, and it is in this moment that it is important for me to realize this and do everything in my power to honor my commitment to myself and my Healing Team.
I understand that it is normal for me to experience fear as I approach the journey. I recognize that I have made a commitment to myself and my healing. I recognize that on the other side of this resistance lies growth, opportunity and expansion.
I understand that when I return home after ceremony, that I may feel like I need extra support in this awakening integration process. I know that I can reach out to the Iboga Love Team for guidance if needed.
I understand that I am encouraged to ask questions and bring up any concerns to Julia and The Iboga Love Team.
