Contribute to the Black Liberation Walking Tour
Thanks for offering to support the Black Liberation Walking Tour (BLWT).

The Black Liberation Walking Tour is a community-developed self-guided art, history and culture digital tour that celebrates Hoover Durant’s Black and multi-generational history, asserts resident voice through oral histories, and maps sites of cultural and historical importance in our neighborhood. This initiative is led by the Friends of the Hoover-Durant Public Library (FOTHDPL), the community-based 501c(3) spearheading the campaign to bring a library back to the Hoover-Foster West Oakland neighborhood by 2022.

Please fill out this brief intake form, and a member of the Friends of the Hoover-Durant Public Library organizing team will be in touch.
