We are so excited to present our Jewish Youth Climate Activism Series, free for all JYCM members and Kvutzot! This series will feature incredible educators and organizers and will culminate in a certification in Jewish Youth Climate Activism that you can take home to your communities in order to make real change for the climate movement. We hope that you will walk away from these trainings feeling like the empowered young leaders of the Jewish climate movement that you are!
This series will take place on Wednesday nights from 8-9pm ET from April 14th until June 2nd, with the April 14th training being 90 minutes instead of the usual hour. We understand that this is a big time commitment, and we worked hard to create a schedule in which each session builds on the last, giving you the valuable tools to walk away from this training ready to take your place in the movement. We know conflicts may arise, but we expect you to do your best to attend each session for the eight weeks, in order to have the full and integrated experience. If you are not able to attend, please let us know in advance. The sessions are being recorded. For any sessions you miss, to receive certification, you will need to watch the recording and write a one-page blog post response to the session/what you learned.
As an ever growing movement, JYCM is working hard to make DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) apart of our movement culture. We will have closed captions and opportunities for people to share their access needs at each training session. In addition to that, how can we best make this training series accessible to you?
