2025 Irish Festival Parade Application
GENERAL INFORMATION
Saturday, March 15th, 2025 at 12pm  
Lineup begins at 9am - NO LINEUP WILL BE PERMITTED PRIOR TO 9AM
on Wilcox Pkwy - Clare VFW

Clare, MI

-All applications must be received prior to Monday, March 10, 2025. 
-Entry Fee $30 - All entries MUST BE IRISH THEMED. 
                           - Non Irish themed WILL NOT be allowed in the parade.
-Limit of two (2) (ONLY TWO VEHICLES) entries per business, non-profit, group, family. 
-Parade lineup participant signs will be posted along Wilcox Pkwy, please follow these signs. 
-Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult and are not allowed to operate machinery.
-All animal entries must provide a "pooper scooper" following directly behind the entry. 
-ABSOLUTELY NO tossing of candy from floats or vehicles! However, you may distribute candy while walking along the parade route. 

-All participants will receive a commemorative 50th ribbon
-One winner will be chosen for Best Entry. 
-One winner will be chosen for Best Use of the Irish Theme. 
-One winner will be chosen for Most Fun. 
-One winner will be chosen for Best Community Involvement.

PROHIBITED ITEMS:
-No flammable items, explosives, or open flames allowed.

-No items that would conflict with the safety of attendees as determined by the Clare Area Chamber of Commerce.

*In consideration of the acceptance of our entry in the Irish Festival Parade, we hereby release the sponsoring group connected with the Parade from all liability for all injuries or damages whatsoever arising from our participation in the Parade. Signature on application is responsible for making sure all persons in every entry know and understand the Parade rules.*

AGREEMENT AND WAIVER:

-Must be digitally signed to participate.
-I understand the requirements that were explained in this form.
-I waive the Clare Area Chamber of Commerce, the City of Clare, their employees, volunteers, assigns, sponsors, and fellow participant's from any liability due to injury, loss, or damage to person or property that may occur during the Clare Irish Festival Parade.
-I agree that the Clare Area Chamber of Commerce may have full use of images and other promotional materials (photos, video, audio) to be taken for purposes of this Irish Festival and understand these may be included in the Chamber's printed and electronic social media for an undetermined amount of time as it may be used to promote future parades.
