The Front Range Veterinary Medical Reserve Corps (FRvMRC) is a group of medical and non-medical volunteers that provide veterinary-specific disaster relief services and community outreach/education to the state of Colorado (east of the continental divide).
The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of volunteers, organized locally to improve the health and safety of their communities. MRC volunteers include medical and public health professionals, as well as community members without healthcare backgrounds. FRvMRC operates under the housing non-profit organization, the Rocky Mountain MRC.
MRC units engage volunteers to strengthen public health, improve emergency response capabilities, and build community resilience. They prepare for and respond to natural disasters (such as wildfires and tornadoes) as well as other emergencies affecting public health, such as disease outbreaks.
If you are interested in joining the FRvMRC to help our community prepare for and respond to disasters, please fill out this form. You can find out more about us on our website:

Deployment is always voluntary. Volunteers may become involved at whatever level works for them – assistants are needed as well as leaders, part-time responders are equally as welcome as those who can help out for longer periods of time. Via distance (virtual) roles in areas such as planning and logistics, as well as boots-on-ground roles are available!Questions?
