2020 - Plant Forward Foodways Symposium Session Proposal
Share your skills, art, and ideas that tell or inspire a story about food at the Kalamazoo Foodways Symposium!

The Kalamazoo Valley's Bronson Healthy Living Campus and the Kalamazoo Valley Museum are now accepting submissions for the fourth annual Kalamazoo Foodways Symposium on April 3 and 4, 2020. This free community event inspires and empowers Greater Kalamazoo communities to honor our agricultural history and heritage cuisines, celebrate good food and work together to build a just and healthy future for all.

The topic for this year's event grows before our very hungry eyes as we cook, bake, learn and eat together. Explore the cultural, environmental and nutritional landscape of plant food culture from shared past to shared future.

Presentations, discussions, skills demonstrations, art, music, stories and hands-on workshops for all ages are all encouraged. Please submit a brief description of your proposed contribution using this form by January 20, 2020. Presenters will be selected and notified shortly after.

Proposals may also be emailed to Hristina Petrovska at hpetrovska@kvcc.edu.
