Special Studies Monitor Application
A Monitor is a summer employee of Chautauqua Institution. His/her duties include checking in students for classes and the collection of tuition fees for those classes, which allows attendance on a daily basis. The Monitor is also a friendly and helpful assistant to the Instructor and to the students. It is most important that a Monitor possess good inter-personal skills, basic accounting, punctuality, flexibility and a positive attitude. A typical work week consists of approximately 15 hours at varied times, days, and locations on and off the grounds. You must be present for all 9 weeks of the Season. The compensation for this job is a season gate ticket.

A limited number of Monitor positions are available each season. Openings, when they occur, are generally filled between April and June. It is imperative that we have a contact number and valid email address for you during this time period where you can be reached quickly.
