Grass not mowed regularly during Spring, Summer, and Fall.

Grass exceeds 6 inches in length.

Grass clippings litter street and sidewalk.

Growth of invasive species of plants and weeds.

Bushes and shrubbery not trimmed / maintained.

Dead, dying, or diseased trees that present a hazard.

Dead landscaping plants.

Overgrowth of plants causing blockage of sidewalk.

Leaves not cleaned up in the fall.

Snow not cleared from sidewalks, driveways, front walks and porches.

Lawn equipment operated before 7:00 A.M. or after 10:00 P.M.

Vehicles

Recreational, commercial or industrial vehicles stored in front or side yards, or in view from the street.

Disabled / unregistered vehicles in driveway for more than 48 hours.

Vehicles in street for street cleaning and snow removal.

Parking on the wrong side of the street.

Garbage

Garbage containers placed out more than 24 hours before pickup, or not put away within 24 hours after pickup.

Garbage and recycling containers stored in front of homes.

Recycling materials are not loose in the curbside container (bagged)

Yard refuse not placed in brown paper lawn bags or bins designated for yard waste.

Sticks, branches, and other larger plants debris not broken down to lengths of no more than 4 feet and 2 inches in diameter.

Bulk refuse exceeding 2 cubic yards.

Lawn bags put out more than 24 hours before scheduled pickup.

Construction debris and refuse materials placed on curb

Refuse (trash, recycling, yard and bulk waste) not separated by at least 10 feet to allow collection trucks to retrieve them.

Pets

Dogs off leash outside their owner's yard.

Owners failing pick up after their dog defecates in other people's yards, or to properly dispose of picked up waste.

Excessive barking, especially during nighttime hours.

Aggressive animals not kept under control or in a fenced in yard at all times.

Owning more than 4 cats or 4 dogs over 4 months old per residence.

Fences

Fences that do not maintain the aesthetic appearance of the neighborhood.

Fences not maintained.

Fences placed in a front yard.

Property Maintenance

Roofs not maintained.

Peeling paint.

Walkways, porches, and driveways not maintained.

Potentially hazardous conditions present.

Pools, hot tubs, etc., not maintained in order to prevent stagnant water accumulating.

HVAC elements visible from street.

Standing water in areas where mosquitoes may breed.

Storage of debris, refuse, or other materials that provide harborage for rodents or other pests.

Construction projects lacking permits required by the City.

Construction debris and refuse materials not contained in dumpsters

Decorations

Holiday decorations not removed in a timely manner after the holiday has passed.

Outdoor decorations not in accordance with City regulations.

Businesses

Illegal businesses operated in the neighborhood.

Business operating in Palmer Woods not in accordance with all rules and regulations from the State and City.

Parties & Events

Failure to notify neighbors of large events or parties.

Failure to keep noise levels to a reasonable level, especially between 10:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M.

Guests parking on the wrong side of the street.

Wildlife

Leaving food out or providing conditions that may attract rodents.

Feeding or providing anything that may encourage coyotes to stay in the neighborhood.

Failure to appropriately remedy a groundhog / woodchuck den on owner's property
