Thank you for joining the Eastern Ohio Quarter Horse Association! We are excited to have you be a part of the Youth Association. Meetings and shows are just kicking off for the 2025 season.
Below are the requirements for the EOQHYA NYATT Team:
1. Be a member of the EOQHA for 2025.
2. Obtain a $50 minimum sponsorship due by the EOQHA Spring it On Show in April
3. Attend 3 meetings by June (June meeting included)
4. Participate in 2 fundraisers
a. Spring EOQHA Popcorn Sale - Kicks off at the OQHA Banquet until March 15.
b. Donate two silent auction basket/items for the Spring show.
5. Perform 4 hours of work at an EOQHA show (2 hours may be performed by parent/guardian) - Procedures for signing in for volunteer time will be shared at an upcoming youth meeting. All hours must be verified by a EOQHA director this year.
a. Set up and take down trail patterns at each show
b. Help at the show pen.
c. Sell 50/50 at shows throughout the weekend
d. Hang sponsor banners and help the sponsor committee at the shows
Once selected as a team member, the team members MUST attend the August and September meetings. The team member or parent/guardian also MUST work an additional 2 hours at the EOQHA Show in September and participate in a Fall fundraiser.
The 2025 NYATT Shows are Pending EOQHA Director Approval and will be released asap.
