Portland Panorama Film Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to celebrating artistic expression that fosters emerging voices, spotlights extraordinary talent, and creates a sense of belonging.

Built by artists for artists, we serve as a dynamic international hub for filmmaking, bridging global voices with Portland’s creative community to foster exchange, build connections, and showcase our city’s legacy as a premier destination for innovative art.

The 2026 Festival will be held in Portland, OR from April 9-19, 2026 | portlandpanorama.org.

Portland Panorama's vibrant mix of screenings, discussions, and celebrations is made possible thanks to the passion and dedication of our incredible volunteers. Volunteering at Portland Panorama offers a chance to build valuable festival management skills, connect with others, and have fun while supporting a festival that showcases the bold and innovative work of independent filmmakers from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements: All volunteers must be 18 years or older. We ask that you attend a volunteer orientation to participate as a volunteer.

Benefits: Volunteers supporting a minimum of 20 hours will receive a Volunteers All-Films Pass. Volunteers committing less than 20 hours (minimum of 10 hours) receive a pair (2) of tickets to a screening of your choice, (1) ticket access to all panels, and access to special events. All volunteers will get invited to our Post-Festival Party (date and time TBD).

Street Team | Promoting the festival in the local community by distributing flyers, posters, and event materials.

Usher & Greeter | Scanning passes, tickets, guiding attendees to their seats, ensuring the smooth flow of people into theaters, and maintaining order during screenings. May require being outdoors to help support attendees inside and outside of the theatre.

Box Office | Selling tickets and managing festival passes.

Hospitality | Supporting the basecamp by greeting filmmakers and team members

Production Assistant | Assisting with set up, logistics of special events and screenings

Technical Support | Assisting the technical team with setting up screenings, managing equipment.

Attending one of our 1-hour Volunteer Orientations is mandatory before your first shift. Do you agree to attend this orientation?
