2025 Open Hardware Summit Call for Venue Partners and Volunteers 
We're getting ready for the next Open Hardware Summit in 2025 and we want your help! 
We will be reviewing responses by Wednesday, July 24th. 

Heres what we're looking for: 

A venue for 2025, anywhere in the world.
Here are our venue requirements: 
- Low or no cost (around 2k USD)
- Can seat 300 people comfortably 
- Ideally has breakout rooms for workshops 
- Good air flow 
- Has, or has ability to acquire, AV equipment such as a projector 

Volunteer roles: 
Discord Lead & Team Members: This position may be remote. You should be comfortable using discord, moderating discussions and channels. 
AV Lead & Team Members: This is on-site position at the summit, coordinating AV needs and running the day-of logistics with the help of the local team. 
Outreach Team Members: Leading up to the summit, helping to spread the word to new communities and people. Working closely with the Summit Chair and Outreach Lead. 
Volunteer Lead: Coordinating day-of volunteers. 

We will have more localized roles once we decide where the summit will be! 

Volunteers will receive a free ticket to the summit, but unfortunately we are not able to cover travel to the event.
