Honeysuckle Sweep Registration
The honeysuckle sweep is a volunteer opportunity where we will remove stands of honeysuckle (an invasive species) from the properties of The Nature Institute. TNI stewardship will teach you how to identify honeysuckle, cut it, and then follow behind with a small amount of herbicide which will keep the honeysuckle from coming back. Your help with this project helps us to remove this challenging species quickly early in the spring so that we do not have to disturb the area when other plants are growing and blooming.
