The high-performance computing (HPC) workshop is for students, staff, and faculty from UCSB who want to use cluster computing resources to run computational jobs. It is an introduction for new users who want to get started quickly in using HPC resources for research or education. This workshop will cover the fundamental concepts of using HPC to run computational jobs. Specifically, how the HPC works, how the submit Slurm job to run computational jobs, basic Linux commands, and the National and Commercial computational resources will be introduced. Attendees are encouraged to bring their laptops to the workshop.
