The only cost to enter the competition is the cost of admission to the SCC Fair. Children will be judged on “kid next door” cuteness, poise, personality, and appropriate dress.
The pageant will be broken up into two segments, the “cute” category and the casual “Red, White & Blue” wear category. The contestants will be scored separately for each segment and scores will then be totaled. Please remember we are looking for the KID NEXT DOOR, not for a manikin or a polished model. Kids will be kids, they will be bashful, they will cry, they will suck their thumbs, they will have bruises, scratches, and bumps, and that is okay.
