Dear ISMIR community,

Although daily life in Abu Dhabi has largely returned to normal for a while, we recognize that some members of the community may still be undecided about attending ISMIR-2026 in person. This year, we received an unprecedented number of paper submissions and are preparing a program with an exceptionally high number of presentations. At this stage, we would like to gauge the community’s intention to travel to Abu Dhabi for the conference, and we have prepared a brief survey to help us plan the schedule and logistics more effectively.

This short anonymous survey is for planning purposes only and is not a registration form or a binding commitment to attend. We understand that travel intentions may change, especially as people monitor regional conditions, funding, visas, and institutional guidance. Your responses will help the organizing team estimate on-site logistics such as catering and banquet planning, and help the virtual team understand likely time-zone distribution for remote participation.
