If a student needs to talk to one of the district’s counselors or social workers during the state-mandated K-12 school closures, parents/guardians are asked to complete this form. Certified staff will reach out within 24 hours via a phone call or Google Hangout (through an email invitation). We ask that you keep the following in mind when reaching out:
-Please give our staff 24 hours to follow up on requests (Monday-Friday)
-We will do our best to identify a staff member that is a familiar face or voice, but that may not be possible.
Calls and/or Google Chats are not intended to replace formal counseling services or as therapy; if you/your child has a counselor with whom they regularly meet, please contact them about ongoing services.
-We cannot guarantee that our contact will be confidential by HIPAA standards; please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about this.
