If you are visiting this page, you or someone you know may have experienced sexual violence on campus or in the Decorah community.

Luther College is committed to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy environment where all members of the community—students, faculty, staff, and visitors—are treated with respect and dignity. Therefore, the college will not tolerate sexual misconduct in any form. Sexual harassment is not only an act against an individual; it is also an act that affects the entire college community. Sexual harassment, fondling, rape,  relationship violence, and stalking are inconsistent with our educational mission, and students found responsible for such acts are subject to disciplinary measures up to and including expulsion.

Please provide as much detail about the incident as possible. If you disclose your identity, the Title IX Coordinator will follow up with you. Anonymous reports are accepted but may limit the college's ability to fully address or respond to the incident.

Once submitted, the report goes directly to the Title IX Coordinator (Kasey Nikkel), the Associate Dean and Director of Case Management (Janet Hunter), and the Director of Campus Security and Safety (Bob Palmer). Our primary goals are to provide support to the individual affected and to ensure the safety of all members of our community. Therefore, reports will be evaluated to determine if further investigation is required to ensure the safety of the campus community.
